About: Hailey had a breakdown and discovered yoga. Now she’s training to be an instructor and has asked her colleagues in the police to join practice classes. Initially attending to help their friend, the weekly sessions soon become valuable in ways no one expected. Individual officers’ sense of identity, faith and relationships are tested as the demands of working in an underfunded force are brought into focus. Alexandra Wood’s beautifully observed play exposes the impossible pressures of the police profession and asks how peace might be found, kept and preserved.
